What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact Forms

If you submit a contact form the data is retained for 5 years as we may have further information available to answer your query. Your data will be removed before this time has elapsed on request.

Membership Forms

If you submit a membership form on line to the Society the data is retained to allow us to send out information for as long as you remain a member. If your membership lapses all data will be deleted with 24 months.

Order Forms

If you place an online order with us the data you submit will be retained for 12 months and then deleted.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
